Overview
The Haefely Axos8 conducted immunity test generator allow for 6kV surge/combination wave testing, 5kV EFT/Burst, and a 7kV Ringwave (optional Dips and Interrupts are availible) and a built-in single phase coupler. This test systems is the higher voltage version of the Axos 5, including a Ringwave Function.
This Immunity Test Generator expandable functionality allows for quick and completely automated testing to the most common IEC, EN, ANSI, IEEE and UL standards. This test equipment is user friendly with manual and automated test mode and software assisted test preparation. It provides a touch screen for efficient and effective manipulation of testing criteria to meet or a diverse set of testing needs. Both Axos units have front panel monitoring ports with built in attenuation allowing for quick ability to verify waveform.
This pulse generator allows for testing to EN/IEC 61000-4-4, EN/IEC 61000-4-5, EN/IEC 61000-4-12 and optional external box for testing per EN/IEC 61000-4-11 and EN IEC 61000-4-29. The Axos unit can either be operated via front panel by large colour graphic interface or remotely from the PC. This product has the ability to change testing parameters while conducting tests and is useful for monitoring and debugging function during design phase as well as compliance and pre-compliance testing.
